Houston TranStar provides access to the some of data it collects using JSON data feeds accessible via the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP).  Speed and Travel Time Data Feed
The speed and travel time data is collected by the Houston TranStar Travel Time Monitoring System. This system generates travel times and speeds along specific roadway segments.
 Incident Data Feed
Operators at Houston TranStar continuously monitor incidents on Houston area roadways using the many resources that TranStar offers. The live status of each monitored incident is logged and updated once per minute for the data feed.
 Lane Closure Data Feed
The Texas Department of Transportation and Harris County Toll Road Authority report scheduled lane closures on their facilities daily. The live status of each lane closure is logged and updated once per minute for the data feed.
