Project Information
In September 2002, TxDOT began the reconstruction of US-59 from Mandell to east of Spur 527 as well as the reconstruction of Spur 527 into Midtown. The current 10 lane facility (five lanes each direction) was expanded to a 12 lane facility to include five lanes in each direction as well as a two lane barrier separated HOV facility that will connect from US-59 onto Spur 527.
